HELLO MAY x THE LITTLE PRESS
Being in Perth, we weren't able to make the party, but it was great to contribute to this amazing event and launch of something really special, over in Melbourne.
Hello May launched their debut wedding planner and notebook , ‘The Little Book of Let’s Get Shit Done’ in style, inviting a bunch of talented, creative women from the wonderful wedding industry.
Set at Rupert on Rupert in Collingwood with a long table lunch, cocktails, canapés and delicious main courses. Some words from the wonderful Sophie of Hello May to let you know the talent behind the magic;
“Of course the venue was further brought to life by all round creative genius Shonel from Nomad Styling, arguably one of the go-to wedding stylists in Victoria if not Australia and the lovely Gina from Georgie Boy Flowers – these two talented souls worked hand in hand to create a literal wonderland with bees wax vases and sculpted candles from Tony Assness, candles from Queen Bee Candles, precious stones from Our Satellite Hearts, linen napkins and cutlery from Event Art in Geelong and table cloths from Simmons Linen Hire along with (of course!) some seriously show stopping floral arrangements.
Of course our guests we’re treated with swoon worthy goodie bags to-boot. Inside the Polly Baker woven market bag guests found their very own copy of our linen bound wedding planner and notebook (which comes in your choice of Forest, Blush or Taupe) along with Krystle Knight Rose Quartz Face Massage Rollers, a beautiful candle from Peppermint Grove with their name engraved into the lid for that extra special touch, a six pack of Go-To Transformazing Sheet Masks and a jar of honey from those legends at Wedding Honey. Our go-to for edible favours that your guests will actually enjoy!
Of course no one would of known about our fabulous event with out the help of The Little Press who created the most stunning gold foil letter pressed invitations on handmade paper stock. It really set a beautiful tone for the event that followed.
A big thank you also has to go to Elsa Campbell Photography who captured every hilarious moment (including that time Lucy set her place card on fire!) Regular readers of Hello May will recognise Elsa’s work (pick up issue 21 here) and know we can never recommend her highly enough. The girl never misses a beat.”
